Gautam is a commercial trial litigator and tax counsel. He regularly advises and represents domestic and multinational firms in high value and complex litigations and arbitrations. He specialises in conducting and coordinating multi-forum and multi-pronged litigation proceedings for medium to large enterprises, working with small to large teams across disciplines and practice areas. He also has an extensive background in practising domestic and international tax, having appeared in several landmark tax rulings before the Tax Tribunals, High Court and the Supreme Court. Gautam's background in commercial litigation and tax law positions him uniquely as a Counsel adept at dealing with matters across the commercial spectrum, and devising efficient solutions inside and outside of the court room.
Gautam is an alumnus of NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad and the University of Oxford, and is an Advocate registered to practice in India with the Bar Council of Delhi.
